• You can do without one of the shelves to give more room to the bigger plants. Taking out some of the inox steel bars you can even place small fruit trees that will be sheltered from the strong winds by the wooden frame.
• If you are planning to place plants that are not too big, you should assemble it complete. You will always be able to withdraw shelves or rails later, as the plants grow.
• Switch the rail supports from the inside to the outside if your balcony is really narrow.
• Withdraw some of the shelves, but let the railings on. With climbing plants you can use the rails as guides and tutors, tying the plant stems to them.
