ZURTEK is a company located in the Basque Country in Spain, very near Bilbao. ZURTEK‘s main activities are centred in the engineering, design, manufacture and assembly of wood structures for building.

Due to Spanish building sector’s crisis, some time ago we started with the search of new production lines that, taking advantage of our experience and the available resources, could allow us to keep on working following our goals, that’s why we started an innovation process that finally gave birth to the ZURNEK ® project. With this, and other ongoing projects we keep on working to maintain our social goals, because ZURTEK is an insertion company belonging to the Grupo Peñascal.

The Peñascal S. Coop. has been working for more than twenty years in the insertion of people who were at risk of social exclusion. It is in the sphere of the social economy network REAS.
